Research Report 14 Volumes 1-4

Print and digital publication & Data information design

Designed and produced Research Report 14 across four volumes for the National Resource Center for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition — transforming extensive research findings into a cohesive, visually engaging publication series made freely available to higher education professionals nationwide.

The challenge with a project like this is making dense academic content feel approachable without watering it down. Across all four volumes, I developed consistent editorial layouts that balanced large amounts of data, charts, research findings, and written content through thoughtful typography and clear information hierarchy — so educators, researchers, and student success professionals could actually move through the material with ease.

The result was a series that brought clean, modern design to scholarly content, supporting the National Resource Center’s mission of connecting research and practice in higher education.
